Meet your teacher
I’m a Houston native with about 20 years as a professional dancer and teacher — first on stage, performing on Broadway, as a Radio City Rockette, and around the world, and then in the studio teaching in the New York City area.
Now I’m bringing that experience home to the Heights as a founder-led studio, where I teach every class myself. My style is creative and imaginative — real technique delivered as joyful fun — so kids build confidence on and off the dance floor.
Because I teach every class, your child learns from one familiar, dedicated teacher, every single week.
Good to know
Safety comes first. Every adult working with children completes a background check before the first class, we keep a no-unsupervised-one-on-one rule, and there’s a first-aid-trained adult on site during classes. Our full safeguarding policy is written down and shared with families.
Comfy clothes they can move in. Our littlest movers are happiest in bare feet or grippy socks; pre-ballet dancers can wear soft ballet slippers. A quick note: the studio floor can be slippery in smooth-soled slippers, so grippy soles help — we’ll guide you at your trial.
Comfy, easy-to-move-in clothes are perfect for our youngest movers and for any first trial. For enrolled ballet classes (Twinkle Twos, Pre-Ballet A & B, and Ballet I): a leotard and tights with ballet slippers — girls in a pink or black leotard, pink tights, and pink slippers (a ballet skirt is optional); boys in a white or black shirt with black bottoms and black slippers. For every class: no jewelry except stud earrings, and hair pulled back off the face.
In Magic Minis a grown-up dances right along with their child. For our older classes, we’ll help you settle your little one in and share how viewing works so class stays focused and fun.
Absolutely. Every class is for every kid — ballet included.
Book a free trial and your child tries a real class — no commitment. The introductory class is free and isn’t billed against the Fall Introduction term (Mondays: six-week course, five paid after free intro; Saturdays: five-week course, four paid after free intro). We’ll follow up afterward to answer questions and, if it’s a fit, help you enroll.
Mondays Aug 24 – Oct 5 (Labor Day, Sep 7, off) — a six-week course. Saturdays Aug 29 – Oct 10 (no class Sep 5 Labor Day weekend or Sep 12) — a five-week course. Monday: Magic Minis 9:00, Pre-Ballet A 9:30, Twinkle Twos 10:15, then after school Pre-Ballet B 3:45 and Ballet I 4:30. Saturday: Adult Ballet 8:30, Pre-Ballet A 9:30, Twinkle Twos 10:15, Pre-Ballet B 11:00, Creative Movement 11:45.
